And now we give you a group that needs no introduction. Even if you claim to have never heard of them; their contributions, collaborations and creative offshoots span across countless acts, projects and the like. Loosely located from their home base located in sunny Stockton, California — the legendary and elusive Confident Hitmakers clique present the visual companion for their latest single "One of a Kind Ancient Tomb". A meditative and pensive DIY anthem for our times of effective isolation; the Hitmakers provide us with a full nostalgic rewind through the sounds and visuals of memories that provide senses of warmth, joy, happiness, humor and hope.

The storied west coast creative collective takes skate film style outtake footage and edits them together to create a sentimental/conceptual piece of analog-digital mixed media. The "Ancient Tomb" video begins with CHM's own Eli Wengrin introducing the Stockton-set odyssey with the prologue of, So I had this dark fantasy the other night, I will reveal it to you and tell me what you think. From here the song and video kicks into gear with vehicle captured panning vistas of greenbelts, sidewalks, suburbia to the gang hitting up a local diner for burgers, fries and waffles. From here we witness the group’s Logan, Eli, Wes along with fellow cohorts Sam Regan and Kenny witnessed in a variety of candid moments collected over the course of recent years.

Home spun VHS screen tests, busted skateboard tricks and embraces of life's own existential ennui are exhibited by the group both in the video and the moody tones of maudlin pop chords and sincere tones that lend to a sense of open book vulnerability. "One of a Kind Ancient Tomb" replays the highlight reels of reflection that celebrates the good and sublime moments of the past while recognizing the influence, friendship and support from one another. The Stockton crew continues building off their collaborative foundation of making organic pop ballads of honesty, bliss, melancholy with sonic multidisciplinary visions and aesthetics of DIY grandeur. The video adaptation blends high art with a low rent skateboard cinema economic warmth that reminisces over late evening conversations, World Star deep dives to binge-watching talk show reruns.
